Permanent Bending 3 in. Corrugated Drain Pipe
I need to make custom, permanent bends in 3 in. corrugated drain pipe.
What temperature heat gun do I need?
Will a small propane torch work?

Degree of Bend
In the neighborhood of 70-80 degrees.
Should I heat all the way around, or just on the concave side of the bend?
Would this HF model be sufficient?:

You'll need to "set" the bend, so heating all the way around on the low setting of that gun may work just fine. At least you'll have the high setting if it needs it. No way you could relax the bend of a 90 degree ell, is there?

Ells
Fittings for 3 inch corrugated are not readily available. The pipe was not stocked locally, either. Ordered and was shipped from Colorado, north of Denver. I am using 3 inch because I want to keep the trench as shallow as possible.
Thanks for your help, Larry. I think I saw in another thread that you are in Denver. Have a safe trip home.
Probably will not affect you, but I-85 in Atlanta is closed due to a long span collapsed due to a huge fire.

Thanks, Ken. Yeah the bridge collapse happened the night before we came out here. Oddly, we took GA 400 down to one of the MARTA stations and had very little delay at all. Of course MARTA traveled to the side of the problem area, making our trip to the airport uneventful, thankfully.

Bending Drain Pipe
Used a HF heat gun to heat pipe and made a permanent bend where the pipe comes out of the ground and attaches to the downspout. Thanks for your help. Job completed.
