this plug is steel and measures 20 mm across the threads with a dial caliper.
look at this propane ball valve 1/2 inch brass female that is joined to 1/2 inch steel pipe.
Will this plug fit on this ball valve after I remove the CSST line and fitting from it..??

Yes, it will fit. Apply pipe dope to the male threads of the plug only, not the internal valve threads.
Use 2 wrenches, one to hold the valve so it doesn't turn and one to tighten the plug.
