Safe to move pex without recrimping?

Had a contractor do some work and remove a pressure tank.
When they reconneted the existing pex they twisted the pipe up 90 degrees from where it was. Doesn't this put extra pressure on the connections?
Eg rotated it from a horizonal position to vertical and attached with a wall clamp.

Maybe twisted isn't the correct word.
This 3/4 used to come horizontally towards the camera and has now been pushed upwards vertically.

Rotating PEX fittings is fine. No problem there.
