Blue Water
New member here, asking for some expert help (of course).
We just closed on a new home (newly built). Our water is running blue. No copper pipes. Our water is hard, but a softener has been installed.
Below is pic of particles. They are water-soluble.
Any ideas? Any recommendations for water analysis?
Thanks!

No idea, but a few questions:
* Are you on well or city water?
* Has the softener gone through a regeneration (flush) yet?
* You say they are water soluble, so when the water evaporates, they stay on the cloth? Or can you see them floating in the water?
It doesn't strike me as a water anomaly, more of pipes or a device that wasn't flushed out completely. But I've never seen anything quite like it.
