Adjusting water temperature mix on old "Mon-o-mixer" valve
I've got an old, presumably original, valve from the mid-50's in my shower. Even when cranked all the way to hot water I, at best, get lukewarm water. I've removed the handle and plate to see if there is a way to adjust the temp mix but didn't see an obvious solution. Anyone have experience adjusting a valve like this? If useful, I can take another photo tonight with the plate off.
