Watts recirculating pump

I am thinking of adding a recirculating pump tp my water heater. After watching some videos it seems was enough to install. I understand there is a sensor valve that I believe needs to be installed at the furthest bathroom fixture. I have a couple of questions:

1. Am I correct in the idea that the sensor valve needs to be installed at the bathroom fixture that is the farthest from the water heater?
2. Does recirculating the hot water warm the cold water?
3. Is Watts the best of the bunch or are there others that might me better? I noticed that the watts comes complete with everything needed where some of the others sell the pieces individually.

Pin hole leak in copper

Hi All: I am having a pinhole leak at the T joint where the bottom valve is on the inflow by the filters. This was installed 2 years ago why do you think the copper would have a pinhole in it already? Also I tried heating it with a MAP torch hoping I could melt the solder and add more over the hole. I heated it for about 15 minutes and it never go hot enough to melt the solder. Is that because there was some water still in the pipes or because there are so many pipes they were acting as heat sinks and it will just take time to get it hot enough to melt? This all happened at 2 AM so I was trying to do anything to stop or slow the leak until I could get better repair. Any thoughts appreciated.

How do you join PVC pipe to old hub of cast iron fitting?

First forum post here. HELP!
2" cast iron drain pipe connected to a bath tub totally rusted out. Looks like I have to use a sawzall to cut the old pipe off flush with the face of the fitting hub. (1) So do I simply get a neoprene reducer with those stainless steel bands to mate to replacement PVC pipe I'll run to the tub? Would it be worthwhile to lay down a heavy bead of silicone rubber around the butt joint of the PVC pipe and hub before sliding the reducer down over the outside diameter (green line) of the fitting hub?
