How do I undo this coupling?

Picture says it all.
I need to remove that leaking valve. Never saw plastic coupling or fittings like this. Red tubes are some sort of rubber material. It's part of circulation pump circuit.

It's a type of pex that is mechanically expanded, then pushed on the fitting. As it contracts it cinches down tight on the connection. https://www.uponor-usa.com/pextalk/2...ngs-are-1.aspx

Pretty sure the only way to remove it is to cut it. Without the expensive expansion tool, you'll have to use a different method of remaking the connections.

You might be able to get it apart by using a heavy duty heat gun to soften the plastic but as Vic states you will need to use a different method for the final repair. Those particular connections are a one-shot deal as far as I know.

Darn. And with circulation pump out of equation takes 3minutes for hot water to get to bathroom.

And entire piping into the wall is those connectors.

Can't see enough of tubing to help. Take a couple of pictures showing more of tubing.

It's done.
$150 took care of this.
Same time opened 13 you circulation pump and cleaned it.

Thank you all. Plumber, who is family friend, told me that those fittings are actually very good as they do not rust or leak. Of course, HE had the tool.
