Waste/stack
I have to reroute a 1 1/2” waste vent pipe, is it possible to vent it through an exterior wall?

Yes, but it's ugly. This article describes venting. The section titled Table of Plumbing Vent Clearance Distances to Building Features describes where the vent can terminate.
Running a vent outside through a wall was generally only done on old, pre-indoor plumbing houses. Doing it now would be a clear sign of a hack/amateur job. Most houses it's possible to route the vent line up inside the walls and through the attic and roof.

Depending on your locale and what it's venting, you could also use an air admittance valve (AAV). A vent out of the house is always preferred, but it's a possibility if you don't have any other good solutions.
