Pipe size for LP to fireplace

I recently installed an LP fireplace 45,000 btu and had a plumber run the black pipe to a place where a tank would be dropped. He ran 32 total feet in 1/2 inch. The gas company recommended extending the run to a different location. This would require 38 additional feet. So the total distance would be 70’. Is it ok to continue with 1/2”?
Cheers!

At 70 feet length 1/2" pipe has the capacity for about 75'000 btu so you should be good with a healthy margin.
