Long washer drain pipe?
Can I install a drain pipe to connect a moved washer to an older basement washer drain 30 feet away? If the slope is 1/4" per foot then that's 7.5", so that doesn't sound bad.

You'll also need, I believe, at least a 2" line to handle the amount of water without backing up.

so if it's going to a previously installed and vented drain, I shouldn't need another vent near the washer?

For a 2" drain, the max distance from the trap to the vent is 60" (5').
For a 1.5" drain, the max distance is 42" (3.5')
Your locale may allow the use of AAVs (Studor vents) so it may provide a good way to vent.
