please can someone help me
i went to run a bath and there was no hot water so i checked the obvious and the pilot light had gone out after i hour i went to run the bath again and the same thing had happened
this is now the fifth time in turning the pilot light back on in the space of 2 hours
has anyone any ideas as to why this keeps happening

Your most likely problem is the thermocouple. Oldguy's website he directed you gives pretty clear instructions. The thermocouple is basically the safty switch the shuts off the gas it the pilot goes out. When they fail, they generally "fail safe", keeping the gas off, or not letting it stay on for long.
