Different "plastic" plumbing types .
First off how can I spot what type of Plumbing I have then how many different types is there and how can I tell the difference of those and which have issues

You just have to look at what you have and identify it. If you walk through a plumbing store or big box home center you'll be able to see some of the more common types of piping.

PVC and CPVC have writing on the pipe to help identify it. If you post a pic or two we might be able to ID it but as PD said, the plumbing dept at your local big box will have an assortment of plumbing pipes and you should be able to figure out which type you have.
You can't just mix/match different types of plumbing [not easily anyway] so I wouldn't be overly concerned whether or not your type has issues unless you intend to replumb.

Isn't there one that has a issue. Pex i believe?

The system that had problems was often referred to as Quest. It's tubing was flexible and gray and used bare copper crimp rings.
