Installing Sink in Garage

Hi all,
I am trying to install a sink in the garage and there is a one sink in the laundry. I.am trying to split that connection for hot and cold and was wondering what kind of pipe I should use. I'm trying to use braided ones so it's easy to control. The length between the garage sink and laundry is about 10ft can anyone suggest something how supply the water to the sink in garage. I already got the waste pipe done just need suggestion on hot/cold supply.

Use pex. Rent the crimping tool to make the connections.

What kind of pipe is in the laundry? I take it freezing is not an issue for pipes in the garage.

I'd want to continue with the same type of piping the house already uses. I woudn't want to carry a flexible line that far, especially if it passes thru a wall. What provisions if any are you making to make sure those pipes/taps don't freeze?

btw - welcome to the forums!

The piping in the laundry is behind walls so I wouldn't know and freezing shouldn't be an issue cuz of the weather around here. I haven't had frozen water in garden hose in last couple of years...Cali weather.

You should open up the wall and Tee off of those pipes. Is your house on a concrete slab or crawlspace/basement? If a slab, does your plumbing run under the slab or from the attic?

There is a sink inside the laundry. I got a tee connection but I am wondering what kind of pipe should be used to take the water to the garage. The house is single story.with no basements and garage being next to the laundry separated by a door and wall.

Why do you want to change the type of pipe? I'm with mark, I'd stay with what you have.

Oh, just saw that you don't know. But then how did you buy a tee if you don't know the pipe type?
