Washing machine drain hose right angle adapter?
Anyone ever found or made an adapter for a washing machine drain hose that is 90 degrees? Trying to get mine as close to the wall as possible and the one I have sticks out an extra 4 inches.
Obviously I know they make drain hoses with an elbow, but seeing as I just bought this one a couple months ago, I'd hate to spend another $20 if I don't have to. ;-)

Many of the drain fittings on clothes washers are right angle connectors.
Based on what you most likely have..... it's almost impossible to adapt it as you have a hard plastic fitting exiting the case.
Post the model number for the washer.

It's a Whirlpool WFW86HEBW1 - has a straight fitting coming out the back of the washer. The OEM drain hose has a right angle, but this is the one that I currently have...

I was kind of hoping there was the right angle version of something like this...

I had to look up your machine to see what size the drain fitting is. It's 1"
The smallest size I can find is 1-1/4". Anything smaller is going to be a special order and will cost.
I tried at fernco but their site is under construction.
small rubber elbows.

Good find. Seeing as these are $15+, I might as well order a new OEM part. Figured it was worth a shot. Thanks!
