What is the procedure to get water in a toilet tank to fill up to the fill line? This seems to be a simple thing, but
it just won't do it...thanks@

If you have a ball-float type fill assembly, just bend the brass arm to adjust the water height.
If you have a float-cup type fill assembly, pinch the little clip on the rod beside the cup, and slide it up or down to adjust the water height.
There should be an indentation line inside the tank to indicate the proper water fill line level.
Good Luck!

Ball float type with plastic arm...adjust screw at end of arm in top of fill valve. Tighter turns off water sooner, looser lets water level go higher.
