I'm installing a Kenmore Natural Gas Grill. I am planning on running gas lines myself. What key steps should I take to do this. I am going to be tapping into existing gas lines. I realize I need to shut off appliances and shut off main gas. ?'s I have are:

-how tight do I tighten pipes together. I'll be using gas thread tape.
-do I drain line once gas shu off.
-do I need a regulator at the grill or is it a direct connect?
-and anymore important tips I could have missed.

Cool

You may want to post this over in the Appliance-Gas forum for a faster answer, although Tom_Bartco drops in here from time to time.
He's the gas appliance expert here.
Good Luck!
