Kinetico Model 30 Pawl Replacement
I have a model 30 that I have repaired on and off for 30 years. I have replaced the media once and it continues to work great. I have accumulated a lot of spare parts. One thing I am not sure of is the meter drive pawl.
The only differences I notice between the new and old style units is the meter drive pawl. One uses a spring and is white with a rounded end tip and the other one is black with a pointed tip. The white one uses the spring and the black one doesn't. My question is, are these interchangeable? Is that the only difference concerning the pawl?
