Black particles in master bath sink
My house is only a year old and this just started. When you turn on the sink faucet black particles sometimes come out. Any ideas?

We need to narrow down the problem.
Is it just that one faucet........ you've tried all the others ?
Is it when using hot or cold or both ?

To add to Pete's list, have you removed the aerator in the faucet (the little filter at the spout) and cleaned it out? Sometimes gunk gets trapped there, and can find its way out much later. Or maybe you'll find a lot more of it (hopefully not!)
