There is a high pitched humming noise whenever a faucet is turned on or a toilet flushed. What is the step by step procedure to bleed air out of pipes?

Cool

If you are on public water with a Pressure Reducing Valve, it is probably the PRV that needs adjusting, repair or replacement.
The PRV should be located between the meter and your main cut-off valve at your home.
Good Luck!

Talking noise in pipes

hi Velcro,
Noise in pipes is a veritable headache, make sure your pipe work is securely cliped aound your property. The old guy is right about your main shut of valve but if the oscilation noise persists change the thing or if its the water companies get them to do it.
