Garbage disposal removal

I’m strongly considering removing my garbage disposal. Looks fairly simple. It’s connected via a threaded fitting. Can I use a threaded fitting in its place Just to the right of the dishwasher inlet?

Do I need a second trap for the sink on the right? Some photos online show each sink having its own trap?

Any other issues to consider other than electrical?

I guess I’ll need a new basket and flange fitting. Are the baskets all the same size?

Thanks as always.

Second photo needs to be rotated 90 clockwise

It's hard to tell what that threaded fitting is from that angle, but if it's a slip joint fitting, then yeah you will just need to get the same size slip joint pipe to fit it. And yes, baskets are pretty much all the same.

As far as the trap goes, i cant tell where your plumbing goes after the existing trap... but for the looks of it you don't need another trap because then water from the right sink would have to go through two traps which is wrong. If your line coming out from the wall has a wye that leads toward each sink, the you would have two traps... one on each line.
