We are remodeling our kitchen and decided to move the sink. I’m planning to route the water lines in through the left side of the the cabinet. I drilled the holes yesterday, and now I’m wondering if I should have put them farther back. I don’t know if the placement is fine as is or if I should drill new holes and fill the old ones. I originally thought that I would secure the PEX lines to the back of the cabinet, so that they don’t move when using the shutoff valve. I’m not sure if this is an issue or not. I’ve attached a picture. The white PEX line is for the ice maker.

I have just managed to find my stop tap, hidden behind kitchen unit. Cut a hole and managed to locate the tap. Turned it all the way clockwise to turn off. Left upstairs taps running for about 5 minutes but water still pouring out. I don’t have a water tank, as we have an ideal combination boiler. Should I have run the water for longer?
