Water flow restriction somewhere

Water flow restriction somewhere
We have a modular home was plumbed with all pex and CPVC. I have a problem losing water pressure when you turn one thing on that flows a lot you lose water pressure the whole rest of the house. I put a pressure gauge in where the water comes in from the road and when you turned something on I would only get about a 5 psi drop. I went out to wear the garden hose hooks in and opened up the same valve and I got like a 20 psi drop. Any idea of how I can go through and figure out where my restriction is. On city water with no pressure regulator. It's a very small town. I have about 60 psi coming in.

It doesn't sound like a blockage..... more like undersized piping. The main coming in should be 1" or 3/4" and then step down gradually. If it's converted to 1/2" immediately..... you will get a pressure drop as not enough water can flow.

It's 3/4 from the road, when we moved in they had 1/2 right away and then where it went upstairs was 3/4 again. I replaced the half with 3/4 bit it didn't seem improve anything. This house has a lot of weird things going on. It's modular home with a full basement added.

I wonder if you're just not getting good pressure/volume into your house. You can have good pressure, but without enough volume, you can only run one fixture at a time. if your shower is using 2.5GPM (newer ones are limited to this), but you only have 3GPM coming into your house, there's not much left for anything else.
You can test this by timing how long it takes to fill a 1 gallon container from your outside faucet. Divide by 60, and that's your GPM (5 seconds = 60/5 = 12GPM).
My guess is that your available volume is very low. If that's true, there may be some solutions.
