New Sink - no tailpiece for drain and its a larger size

Bought the sink we wanted online and it came with the strainers. It appears where I would attach the tailpiece is 2" instead of 1 1/2". It didn't come with a tailpiece. Even if I find a 2" tailpiece can I even make that work with the 1 1/2 inch pipes that are there?

Is this a commercial sink ?
I don't remember seeing any home sink over 1-1/2".

Is there a nut that comes off the strainer for the tailpipe ?
Can you give us a link to the sink or a picture of the strainer.
How-to-insert-pictures.

It is not a commercial sink this is the sink here:

it does have a nut on the drain, but it doesn't fit a 1 1/2" tailpipe

Are you sure that's not a 1 1/4" tailpiece in your photo? There are 2 sizes you know....

Well, you will probably need 2" tailpiece and 2" trap if that's what size it is. You will obviously need to change something on your rough in to accept that size pipe... like Pete said, that's a commercial basket size.

I'd simply toss the baskets it came with and get standard baskets if it was me.

It's a pricey sink. I'd contact the company and ask them what's the deal with the 2" strainers.
Possibly they were shipped in error.

Well since they initially only sent one strainer with it and I had to request the 2nd one I dont think it was a shipping error.

I am going to replace the strainers and just get it done
