Banging pipes

I recently had a bathroom remodel which included rerouting the shower pipes and installing a double vanity with new faucets. Now anytime I open a faucet I get a banging noise in the pipes when turning off water. It seems to be worse when using the new bathroom. The pipes will also bang on their own randomly through out the day and night without a faucet being used. I’m wondering if I can fix this myself or do I need to call a plumber.

Could be loose pipes or water hammer when the changes are made, typ both are simple fixes but need to start with confirming that pipes are not loose, then move on to water hammer arrestors.

I'm assuming you have talked to whoever did the plumbing rework?
