Replacement Cartridge / Maker of Shower Valve?

Can anyone help me identify what type of faucet valve this might be and what part number / type of replacement cartridge I need? <or where i could go to identify it?> chrome handle has American standard type markings (red and blue circle) but I don't think the valve is American Standard.

It is a single handed shower faucet; handle levers in and out to turn water on then rotates 30 degrees or so each way to meter hot and cold water. Cartridge is likely after market and about 2 1/8" tall and 35mm in diameter - I appreciate any advice as nothing similar at big box stores; plumbing supply places closed due to COVID and hour of internet search led me to here! thanks pop

faucet valve picture is rotated 90 degrees from how it is installed
cartidge has no part number only a 03/25/2016 date

I think the faucet brass body looks a lot like there American Standard shower faucet so I believe I'd continue to focus on American Standard.

But.......I am troubled because the American Standard cartridges I have seen all have 3 screws holding them in place. What holds your cartridge in place?

Can we see a picture of the handle with the markings? I am beginning to think you have a store brand faucet that mimics American Standard.

I don't recommend Danco faucet repair parts, but their online catalog might be helpful in identifying what you need.

Thank you - no screws to hold the cartridge in place but a large brass ring that fits over face of cartridge and screws on brass valve to holds it in.

I'll check the cartridge catalogue thank you.

Whats the # on the cart?

Looks like a Wolverine brass.. Should be a name on the shower plate too..

The balance spool is still inside the body...
