Tub/shower drain clog

Tub/shower drain clog
Had a slow draining tub drain, so I used a Zip-it plastic tool to clean out. I seem to have made it worse, now the water level doesn't drain at all (or extremely slowly). Any help?

It probably needs more cleaning. Keep working the Zip drain cleaner but it can only reach a short distance so your problem might be out of it's reach. If you weren't careful with it you may have pushed the clog material further down the pipe and formed a more solid clog. Try removing the stopper and see if that gives you better access.
There are several different types of tub stopper. If your's has a lever on the side of the tub then it's mechanism is down in the drain pipe and might have to be removed to get at the clog.

If the clog is not right there at the spider in the drain then it's likely in the trap which in the photo would be down below where it says "Handyman". To clean the trap you'll need a drain snake/auger and to go in through the tub overflow.
