single lever shower valve

I want to replace my older no name 3 piece controls with a 1 lever for shower/tub. I will have to do some cosmetic stuff and later and am ok with that. I have access to valve assembly front and back of the stall.
I want a lower priced but decent unit that is common...something that wont be obsolete soon.
I need the rough in bracket and valve. I will make it fit in my shower space with new connections.
Can someone recommend a model around 100-130$ complete( no shower head or bath spout)
that is decent....??

I'd go with a name brand such as Delta or Moen, I prefer Delta over Moen, but that's just personal preference.

Agree with Joe. Any of the know brands. some other names will be American Standard, Hansgroug, Price-Phister. They all have lifetime warranty.

Why do you want prices on replacement cartridges? It's lifetime warranty. I've sent many a customer back to Delta and Moen for warranty repair. Never a problem. Only thing is you need to wait for it.
