Basement concrete floor leaks when water goes down kitchen drain

After removing many layers of vinyl tiles from basement floor I discovered a bad leak. It seems to be the drain pipe being that water only comes from under the concrete floor when the kitchen sink has water going down the drain. I discover a bunch of small holes drilled in the concrete around the basement floor close to the walls which I assume the previous owner did to help rid any water problems. I mention that because 2 of the holes close to each other is where the water comes from. The walls seem to be dry and no water is coming from the wall and on top of the floor. What is the some of the best ways to tackle this. I am think of breaking the concrete where the water is spouting from and if it's a damage drain pipe repair it. I have a old house and had to in the past repair damage drain pipes. I am assuming that those layers of old vinyl tiles was hiding this leak for maybe a long time. because now I am getting plenty of sewer water now. What do you guys think?

Your idea sounds like a good start. you won't really know what you are dealing with until you open the floor and find the leak source.
