my downstairs toliet tank cracked and I replaced it with a the same model but different color, now keep in mind i just replaced the tank and have used the old guts in the new "old" tank. the problem i am having is that there is a slow leak from the tank into the bowl and it refills about every 1/2 hour so i replaced the stopper/flapper and it went to about a 2 1/2 hour refill time and so i replaced that stoper with a different model and now it is about every 5 hours, it refills it only goes down aobut 1 inch and then refills every 5 housrs what do i need to do to stop this.

Cool

Have you cleaned up the flapper seat with steel wool or SOS pad, so that the new flapper can seal completely?
Try that. If it doesn't work, then maybe you need to replace the overflow pipe assembly (includes the flapper seat).
Good Luck!
