Unhappy

I have a clog problem in the sewer line, and have had no bathrooms for four days now. I need to find the point in which the house connects to the public line. It runs through my garden. Is there a way to find the line without having to dig the whole place? We are prety sure that the line is iron.

Cool

There should be a cleanout near (just outside possibly) the base of your home.
It may be a clog, or a collapsed line, or it may be roots blocking the drain.
You can try snaking the drain with a power snake.
With an old line, however, you may want to consider hiring a pro drain cleaning company with a video camera that can determine exactly what the problem is. They will have the proper equipment to clear it.
Good Luck!
