Dish washer drain
Hi
I am installing a new dishwasher for the first time. The dishwasher is across from the kitchen sink. I need to install an independent drain for the dishwasher being that it is not close enough to the sink. Can anybody give me some information about how to do this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.
It will ultimately be similar to a standpipe used for a clothes washer.
You'll need both hot water and a drain.
Is their plumbing in the area ?
Is there a basement below ?
