What is the proper procedure for adding air to a pressure tank. For example, do I leave faucets open or closed? Pump on or off? By the way, I don't have shut off valves either right before or after right after the tank, so I hope these are not needed.

Thanks!

Cool

Turn the pump power OFF (pressure tank does not have to be valved off), and if you have an air bladder-type pressure tank, just add air with a bicycle pump or portable air tank or compressor.
It should be two PSI below your cut-on pressure.
Check the tank pressure with a tire gauge.
