Why do our plumbing pipes "hum" when the water is turned on?

We live in a single family residence which is only 1.5 years old. It just started about 3 days ago but every time the water is turned on (shower, washer, flushing, dishwasher) the pipes make a humming sound that lasts for about a minute then goes away.

What would make this happen?

I would suggest you to check the trap primer usually installed close to hot water heater it is istalled to send little bit of water in the trap whenever the water is turned on any where in the house they usually get fualty and start to make humming noise during operation.
second thing would be the main pressure reducing valve installed on the main line when it enters the house close to main shut off valve they suppose to maintain the even pressure in the system. It will open up when ever there is prissure drop in the system.
Check those two things and see if they could be any help

Wish you good luck
