Question

Hello, I have PVC pipes running from the disconnected garbage disposal, however, the drain pipe from the disposal was lodged in the elbow of the PVC and could not be pulled out. Then, tried to unscrew the elbow, but of course that broke.
Is there a trick to unscrew these PVC pipes?
Was there a trick to get the disposal's drainage pipe out of the pvc elbow w/o trying to diconnect the elbow?

Any help is appreciated, S.Love...Va.Bch.

When unscrewing pipes, use 2 wrenches as close to the joint as possible so all your force is on the joint not on the pipe body which can break. Is it possible that you have non- threaded pvc which is glued together? In this case, you must cut the old pipes with a saw to remove and replace with new where needed.
