Spigot Repair Kit - Proper Length To Buy?

Need to buy a hose bib repair kit. I am not sure how to determine what length is for this unit. The spigot itself lengthwise matches the HD - 6 in. Lead Free Anti-Siphon Frost Free Hydrant with Built-In Vacuum Breaker. But how do you determine the correct stem length for repair kit?

It appears you need a 6" repair kit. For $10 more I would just get a new spigot.

I agree with XSleeper. I would replace the entire faucet if you cannot verify the manufacturer and model number of your spigot. Just because yours looks like one at HD doesn't mean the parts are interchangeable. Just getting a new one could save you some headache.

Appreciated your input guys. Already got the 6" Arrowhead from HD, both have the same length. Haven't installed it yet as weather is nuts in N. Dallas right now.

However, i was wanting to repair the old unit for future emergency use or something, for reasonable. Thus my interest.

I'm big on rebuilding but I've found the most common problem is the threads that are cast into the fitting strip. So when you replace the piece that turns.... it just spins too.

Quick question - Is this EFIELD Sillcock code compliant, seeing that it doesn't have an anti siphon? If not, will adding a connection vacuum breaker bring it up to code?

AFAIK, as long as a hose is on a vacuum breaker that's all that matters.
