Soldering splatter

Forgive my ignorance, but we had a plumber install a whole house filter. For some reason he didn't put down any drop cloth or anything so there is like silver soldering splatter on my painted concrete basement floor. How do I remove it. It seems like melted into the floor. Thank you.

R -

Have you tried to remove it? I haven't soldered for a while, but I thought when I dropped some on my basement floor, when it solidified I could scrape the pieces off the floor easily. But maybe my recollection is faulty.

OK - I misread, you are saying it melted into the floor. Maybe a wire brush softly? Might have to repaint a little.

typically if you scrape it with a putty knife it will pop right off. but the paint might make it stick more.

some of it came off easily while other pieces didn't. I'll try putty knife and I'll try wire brush. thanks

You could also use a sharp pick or needle, if you can lift one edge it should peel right up.
