Does anyone know if sharkbite makes this, but with a push to connect fitting instead of the hose barb?
if they do, what do they call it?
I have been searching, but I might not be using the correct name.
thank you
Water softener drain.
currently it has a screw on hose barb and vinyl tubing .
it has to make a turn and no matter how large I make the turn, it kinks.
i was thinking of PEX for the turn. Screw on fitting with a sharkbite push in at the water softener . I didn't want to use the PEX fittings because i didnt want to buy the crimper for just one fitting.
I don't know if your softener use a pipe thread fitting or a compression type with straight threads.
A straight threads connector would be like you linked to with a rubber seal in it.
Sharkbite has a U308LF that is 1/2" NPT. (pipe thread)
Now what about a way to connect PEX to vinyl tubing?
does sharkbite make a push to connect on one side with a hose barb on the other?
I assume sharkbite wont work on vinyl tubing due to diameter and nothing solid to bite on to.
or does such a fitting not exist and I will have to take the fitting linked to above and screw a hose barb onto it?
We have a well so this issue may be better placed elsewhere.
Every time I'm outside hand watering some plants with a hose the water completely stops, once, for about 5-10 seconds. Just before and immediately after, the water flows like usual. We have no issues with baths and showers and don't notice anything elsewhere. Anyone have thoughts on this?
I have installed a motion sensor head on my faucet. It has been working great.

In order for this to work, I have to leave the faucets on. I understand the water hot cold supply lines are strong and can be under pressure. However, the concern is the mixer lines. Usually it does not have to withstand pressure as its function is to mix hot and cold water. If I leave the faucet in the on position, overtime from pressure, stress and wear n tear, can the mixer hose line burst under the sink? This would be a concern if I am not at home as it can flood the entire house.
