Question

I have had a new Hot Water Tank installed six months ago. The temperature has been modifed to heat warmer. Each bathroom sink and shower generates the hot water very well.
Th ekitchen Sink faucet however never really gets the water hot. You can actually still place your hand under the faucet even if the hot wate rhas been running for a while.

Why would this faucet be different? It is a single lever faucet on a pivot ball.

Cool

There is a rubber spring-loaded water inlet seat for both hot and cold water inlets that the ball rotates upon. The hot side rubber seat has probably deteriorated.
Go to the Plumbing section in "Repair/Fix-It" above for an illustrated how-to.
You can get just the seats and springs OR a complete rebuild kit for what is probably a Delta single handle kitchen faucet.
I've had Delta ball type faucets in the kitchen and both baths for years. They are easy and inexpensive to repair and adjust.
If you need any help, just come back on this thread and ask.
Good Luck!
