Hello all! Love this site. First time posting. I am going to be installing a magic pak unit and also a hot dawg heater. 60K BTU Hot dawg for the garage and 30K BTU for the magic pak that will heat the porch on other side of the wall. The Gas line I will be burying from the other side of the house and will run approx 170 feet to the garage. Can I get by with 3/4 inch polyethylene or would I need 1 inch?
Underground yellow IPS poly would be a good choice.
Poly gas line is rated to be used as buried only. Be sure to get pipe risers for each end.
You need 60k + 30k = 90k delivery
Changed reply to reflect natural gas over LPG.
Natural gas is much lower pressure which requires a larger pipe size. 3.5 wc vs 11 wc
5' of pipe gets added on for each additional fitting like a 90.

Had a wet spot in the yard and dug down until I found the culprit. A pin hole in my service line.

Going to have it shut off for repairs.
What would be the best method to fix that type of pipe?
thanks

Bought the house ~5 years ago. Had the lines cam'ed and no one mentioned anything. Saw the water rise after maybe a year, now it happens more and more often, about every 4 months. I clean it with my harbor freight snake and that solves it for four months. This seems really excessive though.
