My pressure relief valve on the hot water heater had a slow leak (about a drop every 10 minutes). I replaced it with a new one of the same specs and after about a month it's doing it again. Any Ideas?

do you have a hot water expansion tank installed on your hot water heater

if not try installing one $ 40

when heated water expands and has no where to go sometimes prvs can leak

hope this helps----josh

And be sure your thermostat is not stuck.

Cool

You probably need an expansion tank if you're on public water with a Pressure Reducing Valve in the main water supply line. This makes it a closed system, and can cause your problem.
OR, it could be a bad upper tstat, allowing the heater to overheat. Check the tstat first (cheaper).
Both Josh and Ichabod are right. Got to be one or the other to solve your problem.
Good Luck!
