SharkBite Sillcock Leaking

Hi Gurus,
Sillcock started leaking after couple of years, replaced the stem three months and now I have steady stream of water leaking even when I tighten the handle wheel real tight using a rag .

SharkBite customer service advised replacement of the Sillcock and informed that as I do not disconnect garden hose after every use that's why this problem has occurred. I am not convinced with this explanation!!!!

I checked the washers they seems to be fine. Water is leaking from spout.

Please share your expert opinion if you agree with customer service and if the issue is repairable.

Thanks in advance.

You did not mention replacing the washer.

Washers are not replacable. I replaced the whole stem unit.

If the seat in the spigot is damaged it will never seal long term. Damage usually happens when you continue to use the faucet after the washer has deteriorated.

Leaving a hose connected in winter causes the body of the faucet to split which usually results in a leak within the wall when the faucet is on.

Customer service could have some standing if the garden hose was left pressurized after turning off sill ****. What does replacement stem use to seal off water flow?
