My husband and I are building a new house and we were told to install the gas appliances (oven and dryer) the cost would be $90.00 each. Is this something my husband and I could do ourselves? We have already indicated to the builder that we want a gas stove and dryer so accomadations for those will be put in to place.
Thank you.

Not hard to do. You need to get the proper flex connector made of stainless steel. There are many types for the different appliances so get the correct one. Hook it up tighten and turn on the gas have some soap bubbles ready made from dishsoap (or anything that will suds) make sure there are no leaks. Make sure you do not scrunch the flex connector when pushing the appliance back.

Good Luck
