The water system in my house has started getting a squeel when I shut the water off at any faucet in the house. This just started recently without any changes to the system taking place. I am guessing it is air in the lines but I do not know what to look at first to eleminate it.
Please help !!!

Thank you.

Cool

If it is air in the lines from someone working on the system either in your home or in the main public supply, it will go away. You can tell if it is by air spurting when you first turn on a faucet or "milky" (air bubbles in the) water.
If you are on public water, you may have a Pressure Reducing Valve that needs adjusting, repair or replacement (due to allowing the pressure to increase too much).
Good Luck!
