My home is approx. 20 years old. It has a two bathrooms in the Master bedroom bathroom, the shower has little to no water pressure, usually bearly enough to take a shower. The sink in the same bathroom does not have this problem. The problem that it has is that it seems to take forever for the hot water to get hot. The water pressure in the shower does not change whether the hot or cold water is on. Same pressure, low.

Cool

The delay in hot water is most likely due to the distance of the bathroom from the water heater.
The low water pressure is most likely due to the showerhead being clogged with mineral buildup.
Remove it, and run the water without the showerhead to make sure that it has good water pressure.
Soak the showerhead overnight in vinegar to dissolve the minerals, clean it out good, and re-install it. Wrap 2-3 flat turns of teflon tape clockwise only around the threads of the showerarm pipe first.
Good Luck!
