Can I add a second shower head in my shower on the oppisite wall by splitting off the current water lines to it? Or will this reduce the water pressure too much? I actually have seperate cold water lines on either side, but only one hot water line. The water pressure is between 35 and 40 PSI, with a flow rate around 11 gallons per minute. Thanks.

Cool

If you have 1/2" water lines and 35-40 psi, then adding the second shower line probably will decrease the pressure.
However, you can try it, but run the line to the second showerhead from the line to your first above the shower control wall assembly.
You shouldn't have to tap into the hot and cold lines, if you can do it like this.
Good Luck! Mike
