The bathtub drain in our upstairs bathroom is clogged, takes 24 hours or more to drain. I've poured two bottles of Liquid Plummer in with virtually no effect, except to loosen up some black muck. Now I have standing drain cleaner, water and muck in the tub. We have never used the tub as we've only been in the house a few months. What's the best way to fix this? (I'm not sure what type of pipe it is - having a hard time tracing it down to the basement.) Thank you.

Cool

Have you tried plugging up the overflow drain and plunging the heck out of it?
Have you tried using a flex toilet auger?
