Question

My home is 100 yrs old, remodeled 6 yrs ago prior to purchasing. The kitchen has double stainless steel sink with pvc pipes. Discovered leaking around the flange of the drain assembly. Please advise how this would be repaired, what is needed, etc. Thank you

I think you mean it is leaking at the basket strainer (where the plugs go) If so you need to remove the basket strainer and redo it. On a stainless I would suggest silcon instead of plumbers puddy. It just seems to work better on the stainless steel sinks that do not have much of a nook in them for the basket sraner to seal.

Good Luck
