My house is 35 years old. When my 15 year old washing machine drains during operation, the drain pipe is overflowing. I've used a 25 ft. snake, but got no results. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It still sounds like a plugged drain. You may not have gone far enough or the plug may be in the main sewer to the house. (It could be 100' away and you will probably need a bigger snake.) Try your small one again and go in as far as you can. You may need to call the roto rooter guy if it still backs up.
