Earlier today my washing machine drain caused my downstairs toliet to overflow. I cleaned up water, plunged but now water level in downstairs toliet water level in bowl is very low. I am affraid to run another load. Please help this working mom, who does laundry leftovers on Saturday for family of 4.

Thanks,

Cool

Sounds like you may have a clog in the main drain line, and the washing machine filled up the line, causing the toilet to overflow.
You need to snake the line with a rented plumber's snake through a clean out plug.
If that doesn't do it, you may need a roto-rooter job, if you have old drain pipes.
Good Luck!
