We live in a Trailer Park. Ours is about 15 yrs old.One of the Bathrooms has a toilet that some times overflows.I tried different chemicals to quicken the flushing action but it hasn't worked.Should I try replacing the float system? The water seems to rise in the toilet almost to the top before it flushes, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cool

A toilet has its own built-in trap, and small objects (plastic toys, toothbrushes, curlers, feminine products, etc.) can easily get hung up in it, causing a paper clog.
Get a crank toilet auger, feed the end into the trap, and crank away.
If that doesn't clear it, you may have to pull the toilet and auger it from underneath.
You shouldn't use drain chemicals in a toilet. You may damage the wax seal, causing an even bigger problem.
Good Luck!
